Less than a year ago I closed up my houseplant sho

Less than a year ago I closed up my houseplant shop @node.nz in Lyttelton after deciding to settle back in Wanaka. It was such a hard decision but the right one. Learning to let go has been a lifelong lesson for me. Accepting that there are chapters in our lives that sometimes don’t finish in the way we envision, and that’s fine.

A few months ago I sold NODE’s online shop to a new owner, and I’ve been quietly working in the transition. While I’m not really involved anymore, I’m definitely still keeping my fingers in the botanical world, with my monthly column on @kiwigardenermagazine and maintaining an indoor jungle. And I’m excited to see NODE’s new chapter too. Plants will always have a place in my heart, and I don’t see that ever changing. Cheers to fresh starts and new beginnings!
