It’s been waaaaaaay too long since I’ve had a giveaway on my blog. Forgive me!
But there is always something to celebrate, and I feel like I don’t get the chance to say thank you to all you guys enough, something I’m trying to work on.
It’s not often that I check my blog stats. I find the less I know, the less I worry about trying to keep up with the rat race, or comparing myself to others. All that time I could have spent worrying, I can instead use on something productive – like planning a giveaway!
Where am I going with this?
So I finally logged into my analytics a few weeks ago, and low and behold, I found that I’ve had over a million visitors since this New Years. Holy crap! What a surprise!
A million?! That’s a big number for a blogger. I mean I think that means I’ve made it, right? A million is quantifiable and it sounds pretty good when I am trying to make myself sound legit to mom and dad (I’ll let you know how it goes when I tell them, and see if they still tell me to get a “real” job).
So I wanted to say thank you to the million of you guys for putting up with me this past year and sticking around through everything. You rock! I’m not one for getting all emotional, but when I think the incredible feedback, messages, and positivity I’ve gotten over the years, especially this past year, it makes me so happy I could cry. In fact, sometimes it does make me cry, but please don’t tell anyone. Thanks.

2 months ago I did my first campervan trip in New Zealand with JUCY and it completely changed how I travel. Now I want to share that experience with you all and give you the same chance.
Campervanning is a kiwi past time, and it’s one of the best ways to see the country. Going from place to place with your house on a back like a turtle allows you to experience a country in a whole new way. I’m hooked! I’m already planning my next trips in a campervan around the world.
JUCY first caught my attention here with their bright purple and green vans, cute logos and taglines, and kickass social media presence. It’s hard to miss them.
They are fun, hip and with it, in every sense. And that’s what we want on vacation right?

Thanks so much for organizing this giveaway–what an amazing prize (anything involving traveling is worth winning!). I would LOVE to win a campervan to start off my working holiday in New Zealand within the next month or two. I’m waiting to wrap some things up Stateside and then I’m off. I’d like to start off by exploring the South Island, but since I’ll have an entire year over there, I’d be content with taking a campervan to any cool spots off the beaten path that catch my fancy on either island AND I’ll have some friends coming over at some point, so it would be cool to journey around with them. 🙂
I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog–it’s been inspiring and it’s been giving me a ton of ideas for things to do and places to visit when I come over to New Zealand. Keep the photos and writing coming!!

I came across you blog from the Jucy Facebook page. Let’s just say, firstly, how pleased I am that you are a woman. I am 29, and Female, and have never really traveled much alone. Often due to feeling worried or my safety. This is really a shame, since I desire to have thAt experience of freedom and independence. I am finally almost finished with my BA in Studio Art, and an emphasis in Sculpture. I am currently working on my thesis paper, and my focus is Land Art. I am planning a trip out west, here in the US as my first solo trip, to visit various Land Art sites in the desert. I would love to explore NZ and Australia someday soon, but I feel like I should take baby steps to getting there. I feel like having a Jucy camper would allow me the freedom, and also provide an element I safety and flexibility on this trip, as well as help me budget! I’m still in the poor college student category! After I graduate I will be a poor artist, but hopefully never too poor to get out on the road, and explore the wonders of this beautiful world!!! So glad I found this blog, as I will be using it for inspiration, and courage! The only solo trip I ever took was to Seattle for a few days. There I met a Kiwi who was making his way from California to Canada by way of car an camping. It totally inspired me, and I’ve been waiting to do the same for years!!
