Update – congrats to Kendra for winning the trip to New Zealand with me in October 2017 – we still have spots available on my next trip in March 2018
In March this year I hosted for my very first group trip around New Zealand with Haka Tours. It was fun and epic and I decided I wanted to do some more.
Last week I announced two more adventure tours with me around New Zealand. The first trip is 12 days and goes around the South Island. This was the same trip I did with Haka Tours way back when in 2013 and it’s pretty much what made me move to Wanaka. You’ve been warned.
From sleeping under the stars in the Abel Tasman National Park to walking beneath glacier to swimming in turquoise lakes to throwing yourself off very high places to drinking wine under the sun in pretty much the most epically beautiful country in the world, I promise it’s going to be amazing.
The second trip is in March 2018 next year and it’s a bit fancier, it’s for 14 days and goes around both islands.
But this week when I was catching up with Haka Tours, I realized I haven’t done a giveaway on here in quite a while.
Can you forgive me?
Well, you better because we’ve decided I’m going to give one of you guys a spot on my October trip around New Zealand with Haka Tours. Wahoo! Come join me for 12 amazing days as I show you all my favorite spots around the South Island.
Here is your chance for a free trip to New Zealand (minus flights, sorry!)

Hey Liz! Love the blog. I have family that lives in NZ and haven’t seen them in quite some time. I’d love the chance to go and do a little exploring and then be able to go visit them since I’m already down there! What a fun opportunity! Cheers!
exciting where do they live?
I’m here visiting family for 6months (I’m staying in Murchison) and would really love to go see more of the South Island while I’m here. I don’t drive which sucks or would be out there on an adventure! This would be an amazing opportunity to go see some amazing places with someone who has a lot of knowledge…. would make my year 🙂
wow that’s awesome!
Liz, for a long time now, I’ve been fascinated by where you’ve gone and what you’ve done and I think a trip with you as the guide would be awesome because I would be able to see it all from your eyes. I Uber drive part time here in Hawaii and meet a fair amount of New Zelanders who tell me about their beautiful country. Thanks to your blog, I can have a great conversation with them from your photos and descriptions. Certainly not a substitute for the real thing.
oh cool and you’re close too!
Oh goodness, this looks stunning!! What a great opportunity. I’ll definitely be sharing it to get all my friends to enter 🙂
