Hello all!
In March this year I hosted for my very first group trip around New Zealand with Haka Tours. It was fun and epic and I decided I wanted to do some more.
Last week I announced two more adventure tours with me around New Zealand. The first trip is 12 days and goes around the South Island. This was the same trip I did with Haka Tours way back when in 2013 and it’s pretty much what made me move to Wanaka. You’ve been warned.
From sleeping under the stars in the Abel Tasman National Park to walking beneath glacier to swimming in turquoise lakes to throwing yourself off very high places to drinking wine under the sun in pretty much the most epically beautiful country in the world, I promise it’s going to be amazing.
The second trip is in March 2018 next year and it’s a bit fancier, it’s for 14 days and goes around both islands.
But this week when I was catching up with Haka Tours, I realized I haven’t done a giveaway on here in quite a while.

Hello! I am from Canada. This year I decided to blow up my very acceptable life and do something I’ve always wanted – to live abroad in another country for a year. I’ve done some previous solo travelling and love exploring new places but I wanted the slightly different experience and personal challenge of setting up a life in a new country. In August 2017 I landed in Australia. While I believe my first month has been a smoother transition than others it has not been without its difficulties and ups and downs but hey – that is the whole point, right? As party of my year, I was planning on going to New Zealand but I would love to see the the Islands through the eyes of someone who adores them.
Pick me!! I’m not sure if this is an option but if it is – I would love a spot on the March 2018 trip!

At the beginning of this year my wife and I decided after being in Japan for 2 years we are not ready to move back to the states. New Zealand has always been a bucket list for us, although we thought it would be for a long trip. But as we thought more about it, why wouldn’t we want to be around incredible hiking and Hobbiton all the time! So we’re aiming to move next year! It would be so amazing to have the opportunity to visit and get to know the place before we have to figure out housing.

I did an Autumn trip to NZ this year and would love to return after realising a few weeks about when I transferred my images from Adobe Bridge to my external hard drive that I have lost around 3000 photos from my trip… I’m devo but life goes on… And to celebrate my loss another trip there would be perfect!
