Update – congrats to Kendra for winning the trip to New Zealand with me in October 2017 – we still have spots available on my next trip in March 2018
Hello all!
In March this year I hosted for my very first group trip around New Zealand with Haka Tours. It was fun and epic and I decided I wanted to do some more.
Last week I announced two more adventure tours with me around New Zealand. The first trip is 12 days and goes around the South Island. This was the same trip I did with Haka Tours way back when in 2013 and it’s pretty much what made me move to Wanaka. You’ve been warned.
From sleeping under the stars in the Abel Tasman National Park to walking beneath glacier to swimming in turquoise lakes to throwing yourself off very high places to drinking wine under the sun in pretty much the most epically beautiful country in the world, I promise it’s going to be amazing.
The second trip is in March 2018 next year and it’s a bit fancier, it’s for 14 days and goes around both islands.
But this week when I was catching up with Haka Tours, I realized I haven’t done a giveaway on here in quite a while.
Can you forgive me?
Well, you better because we’ve decided I’m going to give one of you guys a spot on my October trip around New Zealand with Haka Tours. Wahoo! Come join me for 12 amazing days as I show you all my favorite spots around the South Island.
Here is your chance for a free trip to New Zealand (minus flights, sorry!)
The giveaway will run for the next week and end at noon Wednesday September 6, 2017 NZ time (8pm EST Tuesday Sept 5th). You can enter below on Rafflecopter. Be sure to leave me a comment below and tell me why you want to visit New Zealand! Good luck!
Here’s a little visual inspiration to get you excited!

HI Liz. I know you don’t know me from Adam (or Eve) but I actually saved enough money to go to Australia in 2000. I bought a book on Tasmania and marked all of the awesome places there I wanted to experience. Then I wound up needing emergency surgery because I was hemorrhaging. Unfortunately the surgery and time missed from work ate up my entire Australia fund. Luckily for me I wound up meeting my soul mate that year and we were married. 17 years later we are still married and now both of us would love to travel but cannot afford to go to such an exotic place. I hope someone awesome (like me) wins your trip. Thank you so much.
Good luck!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed! Hoping to go to NZ but the price is putting me off
It’s not a cheap country but this trip with Haka is actually a really affordable way to explore here
Planning on going to Nz next year anyway, so this would be unreal!!
Good luck!
I never been to New Zealand or any foreign country before. Beautiful places, it reminds me no matter how life dissapointed you, life goes on. Take a break, go to some nice places, meet some new friends and maybe from that journey, we will eventually find our own piece and purpose.
New Zealand would be a great first trip!
