Hello all!
In March this year I hosted for my very first group trip around New Zealand with Haka Tours. It was fun and epic and I decided I wanted to do some more.
Last week I announced two more adventure tours with me around New Zealand. The first trip is 12 days and goes around the South Island. This was the same trip I did with Haka Tours way back when in 2013 and it’s pretty much what made me move to Wanaka. You’ve been warned.
From sleeping under the stars in the Abel Tasman National Park to walking beneath glacier to swimming in turquoise lakes to throwing yourself off very high places to drinking wine under the sun in pretty much the most epically beautiful country in the world, I promise it’s going to be amazing.
The second trip is in March 2018 next year and it’s a bit fancier, it’s for 14 days and goes around both islands.
But this week when I was catching up with Haka Tours, I realized I haven’t done a giveaway on here in quite a while.

Absolutely love that you are doing this! New Zealand has been #1 on my bucket list for a long time. I remember seeing the first LOTR movie when I was like 10 or 11 and completing falling in love. For now, I just live vicariously through my favorite bloggers and photographers, but I will make it there someday! (Wouldn’t be mad if it was through this contest, haha ?) Thanks for taking us along on your adventures-I love seeing the world through the experiences and lens of other people. I will be on the other end someday for sure!

As a child I was told that if I dug a hole deep enough I would end up in China. Later in life i realized that the opposit of where I live actually is quite close to NZ, (about 1500 miles southeast of Wanaka). What would be better than go and explore something new as far away from home as possible?

I am hungry for a new adventure, new sights, sounds and inspiration, fresh start. NZ seems so similar to Canada (mountains, rivers, lakes etc…) yet, I imagine so different as well (penguins, kiwis, koalas, caves, the famous Wanaka Tree…oh and the very best wine) all condensed into one compact country. To be able to cover so much in an epic 12 day tour, YASSSSS! Also to have the advantage of being guided around by yourself Liz, with your expertise exploring this lush country, the personal experience would be soul changing I’m sure. What a brilliant way to push outside personal comfort zones and challenge oneself creatively. Yep, you have painted a pretty picture indeed…who doesn’t want to go 😉
